I would like to inaugurate this site
with a quote from the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry winner, Marianne Moore
(1887-1972).

Life is energy, and energy is creativity. And even when individuals pass on, the energy is
retained in the work of art, locked in it and awaiting release if only someone will take the
time and the care to unlock it.

Studying, photographing and experiencing the paintings, drawing and sculptures
of Claude Domec is an invitation for me to challenge and stretch my growth
edge as an artist. The richness of his words ( please visit the interview page) is
filled with guideposts as his works of art are unlocked with the keys of
attention.
As this website develops I will share what I observe, raise questions, and
respond to his works without trying to normalize them. Claude Domec’s works
surpass institutional narratives.
